About Poris de Abona (Playa Grande)

Poris de Abona (Playa Grande) is a sandy beach break on the east coast of Tenerife, facing south-east.

It works best with a north-east swell and a north-west wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It works on most tides; at high tide it can turn into a shore break.

Recommended level: beginner.
