About Igueste de San Andrés
Igueste de San Andrés is a reef break (rocky bottom) on the east coast of Tenerife, facing south.
It works best with a north-east swell and a north wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It usually breaks best from mid to high tide; at low tide the bottom gets shallow, so take care.
Recommended level: intermediate. Watch out for rip currents and crowded line-ups.
