About Punta del Tigre

Punta del Tigre is a reef break (rocky bottom) on the west coast of Fuerteventura, facing south.

It works best with a south-west swell and a north wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It usually breaks best from mid to high tide; at low tide the bottom gets shallow, so take care.

Recommended level: intermediate. Watch out for crowded line-ups and rocks.
