About Playa del Hombre
Playa del Hombre is a sandy beach break on the east coast of Gran Canaria, facing east.
It works best with a north-east swell and a west wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It works on most tides; at high tide it can turn into a shore break.
Recommended level: intermediate. Watch out for crowded line-ups.
