About Maspalomas

Maspalomas is a sand and rock break on the south coast of Gran Canaria, facing south.

It works best with a south swell and a north wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It works on most tides; rocks show at low tide.

Recommended level: beginner. Watch out for rocks and crowded line-ups.
