About Hermigua

Hermigua is a reef break (rocky bottom) on the north coast of La Gomera, facing north-east.

It works best with a north-east swell and a south-west wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It usually breaks best from mid to high tide; at low tide the bottom gets shallow, so take care.

Recommended level: intermediate. Watch out for rocks.
