About Derecha de los Alemanes
Derecha de los Alemanes is a reef break (rocky bottom) on the north coast of Fuerteventura, facing north-west.
It works best with a north swell and a south-east wind, which blows offshore here and keeps the waves clean. It usually breaks best from mid to high tide; at low tide the bottom gets shallow, so take care.
Recommended level: advanced. Watch out for crowded line-ups, rip currents and rocks.
